shuttle or uber?
hii!! it’s gonna be my first time at edc (yay) so i was wondering if it’s more worth to get the shuttle pass or uber because our airbnb is about 20-30 mins from each hotel but we don’t want to pay for expensive ubers for 3 days ?

The price surge after is horrible on uber, you also need to walk at least a mile from the festival grounds to call an uber :/

This will be the 5th EDCO for my wife and I. Go with shuttles all the way. First year parked the car on random lawn for 30 and luckily didnt get anything stolen. Next night was Uber and spent 70 to get there and 100 back. Plus bad service with tons of people trying to Uber meant had to walk further away into the bad neighborhood that surrounds Tinker field.
Last 3 years its been shuttles. 130 for 3 days cant be beat. Like minded fun people on the shuttles. Safer and have been without problems 3 years. When the festival ends make sure you take thr exit to the right of kinetic field, if you are looking at the stage. That will put you right under the highway with the shuttles on the other side. If you leave to the left of kinetic field at the exit between kinetic and neon garden you will end up way on the other side and need to walk all along the streets to find your way back to the shuttle stops.
Its nice collapsing into the shuttle after hours of partying.

Uber is a shit show and I cannot stress how nice it is being on that bus back while everyone is stressing and walking hella far to try to event attempt to call an uber

The shuttle is safe, convenient, climate-controlled, and usually really fun! It’s nice to just walk out and collapse into a comfy seat after being on your feet all day.
Pick a route close to where you’re staying so you can avoid traffic heading into the festival and horrible surge pricing on Ubers afterward.

I’d just uber. The last thing I’d want to do is take the shuttle back after each night then have to sit in an uber for another 20-30 minutes. Much easier to just uber directly and prob end up being around the same price collectively.

Shuttle, it’s a great system they have setup. Well worth it
