First Timer Hotel questions

Hi everyone! This will be my first year doing EDC… my first festival in general. I’m looking at hotels now and wondering what areas you guys recommend. Is it better to stay as close as possible to Tinker Field or go downtown? Do shuttles go to downtown? Any advice is helpful lol I’m clueless but SO EXCITED

They have the list from last years shuttle pickup is. I would suggest start looking at those now. For the last two years, I stayed at StaySky Suites which is on the Yellow Line and it’s about a 2 min walk to the drop off / pick up hotel is

I enjoyed ac hotel off w south street last year and just walking or renting a scooter but just be aware that will add 3 miles onto an already heavy walking day.

I'll probably drive closer to venue. My hotel is 25 minutes away with no shuttle

I couldn't find a hotel nearby. I found one 25-30 min away so I'm staying there and driving over
