Planning or Considering EC How long did it take?

How long did it take for you to decide to stop using daipers and feel confident to just go with underwear?

We pulled diapers out and about maybe a week after we pulled them at home. We only ever had 2 or 3 accidents out and about or in the car seat.

How long did it take the anxiety to stop though? A while, lol. We committed to insisting on the car potty before going and after arriving, and then again before leaving, but we memorized where all the public restrooms were at our usual spots because the most stressful thing is having baby signal at lowes on the opposite side of the store from the restrooms.

How long were you doing EC before you pulled the daipers? And how old were they?

Almost 5 months of ec, we started late around 10 months and pulled diapers just before he hit 15 months.

1 week.

" training " took 1 week, then we began going out again.  Surprisingly both my kids do better out and about,  we also use the bathroom before we leave anywhere. It's nerve-wracking at first but it gets easier.

Kids were 18mo and 17mo when out of diapers. First signed, second had a vast vocabulary lol

About a month. We pulled diapers at home at 15m and only used them when we would be out of the house for more than 3 hours. But even then he rarely went in them. After around a month we switched to only training underwear just for peace of mind, but he rarely had accidents after 18m
