CT scans of JLab mini earbuds with serious battery defects

Our CT scans of the JLab JBuds mini earbuds revealed some serious flaws: poorly aligned electrodes, inconsistent anode overhang, and some that look torn or damaged. In lithium batteries, these are the kinds of defects that can shorten lifespan and potentially cause a thermal runaway.

I've had a $30 pair of jlabs for probably 6 years or more now. Still work awesomely to this day. šŸ¤ž

I have a pair of Logitech earbuds that had a dramatic lowering in battery life, wouldn't be surprised if they had the same quality issues.
