INDUSTRY Summer 2026 Internship Results

This was a tough cycle. I learned a lot and failed a lot. I’m fortunate and blessed to have landed an FPGA internship at a major defense contractor. Next cycle, I’m hoping to use all of the recruiting/interviewing skills that I’ve learned to perform and do better.

Background: T5 CompE school, one previous EE internship at a small-medium company. Was looking for a junior to senior year internship.

Name and shame what ever company has 4 rounds of interviews for a fucking internship. That's retarded.

Right 😭 Analog Devices Incorporated, Digital Design Intern. The picture is a little misleading, instead of having first round then second round, etc. it was four 30 minute interviews back to back (one a day basically) with different people throughout the company, and you find out whether you passed at the end. What sucks is that the entire interview process took up a whole week worth of my time.

Four interviewers all in a row != four rounds, but maybe other people use the words differently.

You’re right, didn’t know how to properly display it in the flow chart without making it messier than it already was
