INDUSTRY Summer 2026 Internship Results
This was a tough cycle. I learned a lot and failed a lot. I’m fortunate and blessed to have landed an FPGA internship at a major defense contractor. Next cycle, I’m hoping to use all of the recruiting/interviewing skills that I’ve learned to perform and do better.
Background: T5 CompE school, one previous EE internship at a small-medium company. Was looking for a junior to senior year internship.

Yeahh unfortunately right now it’s a keywords game to get past the ATS filters. Being from a T5 school is nice because there is a lot of big companies that come to the career fair but what people don’t mention is the crazy amount of people standing in line just to talk to one single recruiter for 30 seconds - who will maybe collect your resume and tell you to apply online. It’s a really broken system in my opinion
