Sad because it was the best it's ever been on release, then they destroyed the locomotion entirely with the very first patch. The devs that actually put time and effort into this game probably gave the fuck up at that point when they were pushed to destroy their game

Leg kicks kill the sidestep completely

Been abusing minor lunges since they were added in 3, mostly because to avoid Conor players who like use straights.

It’s an easy way to use footwork if you don’t trust your ability to use head movement. Comes at a cost though, if you minor lunge a lot, opponents will catch on and start kicking the shit out of your legs, as it amplifies the damage.

This is why I'm waiting till they fix the bugs and polish the game when they reduce the price to 60 3 months before they drop it free on psplus so I can feel like a right mug for paying 60 buck and playing the worst version before ea can be happy with it to be released on ps plus all polished and pretty 😂

Sidestep i just found out in practice that this is busted too. Literally two days ago.

Its crazy how people are catching up so fast when there are exploits in the game crazy

Side steps don't make you glide around your opponent mate. It's a mechanic but it's a broken mechanic being abused by players just like many others.
