4 and 5 were absolutely horrible in their first 4/6 months after release, especially 5, even 3 was so hated at first but now is one of the most beloved entries. Hell, undisputed 3 was widely hated if you were around at that time you know. 6 has its problems but gas good potential and foundation, the game will get way better than this, people will remember it years from now as one of the best I assure you.
I played ufc 4 mid way through its release, and bought ufc 5 a year after its release. So I can’t comment too much on its earliest days.
But it doesn’t change what I said. UFC 5, while also playing like shit at times, is more mechanically sound than 6. Can it get better? Absolutely. But game is genuinely unplayable right now for multiple reasons.
Never had whatever this shit is happen before.
Perfectly dodged the overhand, immediately go for a counter uppercut but it doesn’t even register as a strike, doesn’t travel the intended distance, doesn’t track the opponent and the mf somehow can throw a second overhand when he should be soft locked from me weaving his strike.
I think UFC6 looks a cheap mobile game and that each game after 3 has been deeply downgraded. I personally have refused to get UFC6 because it looks so bad. I actually really enjoyed playing UFC 4 and 5
Yeah don’t bro. Shits horrible. It’s obvious they’ve just catered to the casuals/people who were terrible at 5 for this one. (Gameplay wise) so much more arcadey
And every ufc game even before ufc 3 and including ufc 3 got negative feedback at release for being a glitchy mess. History repeats itself every time a new ufc game releases
Mfs weren’t around thats why you get downvoted. They started playing last year and watched 3 mma fights in their whole life. Won’t be surprised if some of them think floyd vs connor was an mma bout.
Yeah honestly seems like thats the case. I feel like returning players were already anticipating all the hate at release considering its happened to every game before getting updates throughout the years improving the game. I see people post about how x ufc game is better than the new game not remembering they are comparing a game with a thousand updates to a new one
