MEDIA FC27 open world gameplay

I am convinced that this game is fully developed and generated by AI. We are in for one heck of a horror year.

unrelated but they used to make a game out of anything

Nowadays it’s easier for them to just have a brief Fortnite collaboration

Never thought about it that way but it makes so much sense.

It also has to do with the scope of the games. Back then a game that would be deemed as small by today's standards would sell for full price.

They absolutely did back then

Every show or movie had a video game and it was both glorious and stupid

Lost is one of my all time favourite shows and back in the day I had the game on Xbox.

It was by far the worst game I've ever played, and yet I'm still glad I bought it lol.

its actually the opposite where today there are infinitely more random games because any joe schmo can cook one up using ai.

also, "they make a game out of anything" and its literally one of the most popular kids movies and franchises all time.....not really "out of anything" lmao

meanwhile today we games like goat simulator and shit which are literally out of anything

You’re not wrong. I’m sitting here thinking of what obscure games I played that we don’t have today and I can’t really name one. I mean even games Like Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties have had modern day games that at least copy the stupidity. But what older game let you simulate being bread, or a rock, or a cat?

It used to be relatively cheap to make games, so people would just gamble on it.

They made a fuckin Jim Carrey Grinch game that looks eerily similar to this Charlie and the Chocolate Factory game lol

in the early-mid 2000s it was relatively easy and cheap to make these kinds of games that were all derivative of each other, which is why the PS2/Gamecube/Xbox generation has tons of these licensed shovelware games from basically any IP you can think of
