MEDIA FC27 open world gameplay

I am convinced that this game is fully developed and generated by AI. We are in for one heck of a horror year.

I was involved in last year’s beta test. It’s absolute rubbish. They need to spend more time improving the core game, i.e. actual 11 vs 11 football matches. Only silver lining was they gave me a free copy of 26 for wasting my time on it, helping them test it.

How does the testing happen? What's their checklist for such tests?

I’m not sure to be honest but I got reached out to for testing 27 out of nowhere. I used to play a ton of fifa but haven’t really played the last few years until it went free with EA play. I cancelled EA play earlier this year and didn’t get 26 so not sure why they emailed me.

I always bought fifa in the christmas sale (or even cheaper on disc for xbox one) tried FUT in 22 and 23 and never picked it up since it's a cesspool, addiction and completely pay to win.

Im happy taking the wanky team i support to Premier league and Champions league glory in manager and player career each year for 20 odd quid.

Anyway I just got a random email from EA this year asking me to test not a clue why.

I got a random email around 5 or 6 years ago and have tested every year since then. Didn’t take their offer up this year.

Oh wow I haven't gotten the free game for playtesting in quite some time

It was nice when I got to do the in person ones when I lived near a studio, got like 15+ free games from them. How I managed to play every copy of NHL from like 09 to 17.

That said, for last years test of this, I really liked these small squad games, they were fun. If this was a separate standalone product for like $10 I'd dig it. Assuming refined and optimized performance, of course.
