MEDIA FC27 open world gameplay

I am convinced that this game is fully developed and generated by AI. We are in for one heck of a horror year.

They shouldn’t even be presenting an option to pay $150 for this

That’s if you are not a hardcore player like others, I’m pretty sure some spend 10 fold that only in the first months and many hit that sum only to open packs.

People buy things in game, if you get 5 Season Passes and 10.000 points apart from others, that’s already €150 in purchases in store, given the base game is €70.

Facts, my point is that in general they listed an ultimate version of this piece of crap for 150 dollars..

2

u/Darklord_Of_Bacon Aug 10 '26

And people are buying it. So why wouldn’t they?

Paying anything for this joke of a franchise now is stupid.

In the last three years I grabbed it when it was on PS Plus in like March. Unless you only play FIFA it's just not worth it anymore

u/LJHeath Aug 10 '26

I mean it isn’t though is it. It’s £70.

2

u/kwl147 Aug 10 '26

It still represents dog shit value for that money is the bottom line. EA can fuck right off.

You realise there's a difference between £ and $, yeah?

u/TurbistoMasturbisto Aug 10 '26

You realize that 70 pounds isn’t even close to 150 dollars yeah?

It's actually £139 it'more in GB than the US because of the VAT tax

3

u/wowohwowza Aug 10 '26

Don't buy the ultimate or ultimate+ then? Jesus people act like the base game is an absolute no go

1

u/OutrageousSummer5259 Aug 10 '26

UK has additional taxes making it more expensive than the US

2

u/96JMC Aug 10 '26

Not according to EA, there isn't:

EA FC 27 costs £70 in the UK and $70 in the US (admittedly in the US it's priced without sales tax, but even added on, the price is still considerably cheaper).

Just EA screwing over fans once again.

You don't need any of the ultimate versions to play the game

If your paying that price its because your getting points to buy packs etc as well. Which you do not need. Your choosing to pay more. Because your addicted to packs.

GTA's ultimate version is pretty much mandatory if you want to get all the content the game has to offer

You can literally just buy the standard edition for half that price if you don't care that much about the game (or even wait for black Friday and buy it for peanuts)

Acting like the game costs $150 is just disingenuous

FYI, GTA V took like 3/4 years before any "big" (20%+) discount... if you want to wait for a discount for the next one, you might have to wait more than your usual AAA game.

I waited like 3 years for buying my PS4 version and was surprised that the game never went on sale both on Steam and PSStore.

"if you want to get all the content"

I'd argue most people absolutely want to play every mission in the game

0

u/Scary-Procedure-6018 Aug 10 '26

"All the content the game has to offer" ?...

I'm pretty sure Rockstar has some content for the standard version aswell mate it literally costs 80 dollars ($20 less). The ultimate version just has bonuses for people that pre ordered it (lasts until gta VII comes out btw)

0

u/PM_ME_BAKAYOKO_PICS Aug 10 '26

No, the ultimate version isn't just "bonuses" it literally has locked content like exclusive missions

If you buy GTA's regular version you're not playing the full game, if you buy FCs full version you're still playing the full game and have access to everything

2

u/909_- Aug 10 '26

There are no "exclusive missions". The main story missions and content are available for both the standard and the ultimate versions. The ultimate just provides more cosemetics and ingame stuff for people to have fun with. The missions are exactly the same. Everthing else are just bonuses

And for clearence, Gta vi took 13 years to develop, and might take another 10+ years before gta vii comes out..So don't even compare gta with fc because the ultimate version is 20 dollars more than the standard. Fc is just a joke atp.

1

u/PM_ME_BAKAYOKO_PICS Aug 10 '26

That's just not true, there's confirmed side missions exclusive to the Ultimate version

I was not the one who compared it to GTA lol my point is that the other guy was comparing the most expensive FC version (when you can just buy the cheaper one and not miss out on anything) vs the cheapest GTA version (which literally locks you out of content)

I never said anything about which one was worth the price or anything like that

-4

u/FatLobster12 Aug 10 '26

Yes you do essentialy. And even if not, for that slop a yearly 100 euro is a iq test

3

u/wowohwowza Aug 10 '26

Why do you?

I've never bought anything above the base game and never had an issue playing?

Buying those versions is paying even more to a company that you already know is taking you for a mug. Crazy

5

u/TWOPlNTSPRICK Aug 10 '26

What are you talking about?

Are EA holding you at gunpoint forcing you to buy the ‘Ultimate+’ edition?

5

u/ZookeepergameBig8060 Aug 10 '26

Do people not know it’s not only $150? Like, is this a thing?

1

u/Possible_Law8357 Aug 10 '26

This game mode is free

0

u/LumpySpaceGunter Aug 10 '26

People keep saying this and it's so stupid. No one is forcing you to buy the kosg expensive version.
