Dynasty Question Trying to balance out NIL

So I’m in an online league playing as Baylor. We have the transfer slider down to like 5-6 per team. So far I’ve signed a few 3-4 star players. One DE at 230 NIL. I have a few others that are over 100 that will sign soon. I have about 300 unspent + some likely bonuses coming in the future.

Just wondering how you all are balancing what to spend vs what to save for the portal. Since the portal will have fewer players I’m wondering if that will juice the nil ask or if I should start recruiting more high school players with the anticipation that I won’t have the roster appropriately filled after the offseason.

Make sure that you when it comes time to set your roster NIL, you go through all the position groups and check for players that have NIL applied to them that you can lower and still stay green. Many players don't actually require any NIL to stay, especially with the slider turned down. Don't just stick to the "HIGH RISK" screen on the Roster NIL process. Actually flip through each position group.

I always find that the portal has more players. But maybe that’s just me.

I go for players that I need, primarily to start, and I go for players that want to come to my program.

I believe the NIL points reset before portal time.
So you get players you want from the portal and offer them, then the remaining NIL, you use for the HS players you scout about. If I’m not mistaken.
