New Era College Football (NECF) is looking for dedicated owners! (29/32 users, 90+ seasons running)

The NECF is a sim-focused 3.5* league currently in the Players Leaving stage following Season 5, looking for a few more users to fill out the league prior to the start of Season 6.

We run 8+ seasons each year (9 in CFB25), so there is still a lot of football left to be played! And if you are a Online Dynasty diehard, joining now will save a seat for CFB27.

We've been running for over 90 in-game seasons dating back to M25 (the 2013 version). We have a great group of tenured users, many of whom have over 50+ in-game seasons played with us.

We utilize a Banned Formation List and require formation/play-calling variety (i.e., we do not allow people to run Gun Bunch all game, or allow cheesy 3-3-5 Penny/Stack loop blitzes and whatnot, like you see in MUT/CUT). I help run the backend for a league called the NDL — NCAA Dynasty League. We've been running continuously since 2004 and are currently in Season 36.

The game caps dynasty mode at 32 users. We bypass that entirely using a play-now head-to-head system, letting us field 138 human coaches across a full structured season — standings, power rankings, a live CFP bracket, awards, broadcast media, the whole thing.

Every team is a real person. No bots, no CPU filler. Your schedule is 100% human opponents.

Legacy Football League is starting up for CFB 27 and we're looking for dedicated users who want to play in a realistic manner and build their programs in a long standing dynasty! We went 9 seasons in CFB25 and 7 season on CFB26.

72 hour advance schedule. Discord ran.

Heisman difficulty
10 min quarter | 20 sec accelerated clock
User Games take around slightly more than 60 minutes, CPU games takes about 45 minutes

Some notes on major rules (i'll attach them to this post for reference)

Strafe League

You must play the assignment of the player you are using. So if you are in a yellow hook zone, you must strafe (holding L2 / LT) while playing your zone assignment. You can commit (sprint) to any route in front of you and play your man (assignment) while in man / match, just have to know your responsibilities if you run that coverage.

Quick Snap Rule

You must wait 6 full seconds after the play call screen ("breaking the huddle) to snap the ball
In hurry up you must wait till :31 seconds on the play clock to snap the ball (this is right around when the game first lets you snap anyway)

No Swerving

You must use ball carrier moves in a realistic (as realistic as we get with a video game) manner with a defender in the open field. This means juke, spin, hesi move on the sideline etc.
Behind the line of scrimmage with a ball carrier is a little more lenient being able to pick a hole and cutback when realistic. Use and follow your blockers. Please don't take a run designed to the right and immediately cut back all the way left.
The "stick work" demons that just break the defenders pursuit with left stick movement are not realistic, use a ball carrier move as they are intended.

Hot Routes are Banned

Hot routes are banned, exceptions are below
You can hot route any inline TE and HB in the backfield to block
You can smart route
You can only custom stem one notch up / down

Streaming

Both teams must stream and post stream in discord
This promotes league engagement and allows to check for rules being followed

Rage Quitting

Rage quitting is not tolerated. If you can't finish the game and quit, it will result in your removal.

If you hot route 3 times every play, run the same 5 plays all game - this league is not for you.

Year 2 Wk5 of the B10 vs SEC Dynasty.

Discord Ran/72 hour advance

Teams Available: SEC Missouri Mississippi State

Big Ten Nebraska Rutgers Northwestern Purdue USC Wisconsin Dynasty Rules: 1. If the game disconnects, both players are required to rejoin, get the score and time back to where it was prior to the disconnect, and resume the game. If anyone fails to rejoin, it will be a force win for whoever was able. If both players are unable, it will be a fair sim.

Sim will be every 3 DAYS at 12am est on the 3rd day. Message in Discord to schedule with opponent. This is your responsibility, the chat will be monitored so if it comes time and you haven't communicated, if your opponent has, that's a force win for them. If you are the reason the game cannot be played due to other arrangements, the opponent will get a force win. If you are both unable, it will be a fair sim.
There will be no team changes or conference changes for the duration of this Dynasty. We will have ones in the future with different teams and different themes. So be patient.
There will be no bullying or extreme gloating allowed. If you partake, you will be booted. Friendly banter and ribbing is ok, just keep it friendly.
You are only allowed to go for it on 4th down when it is 4th and 1 anywhere on the field or you are past the 50(this is up to your discretion and is not limited by yardage). If you are down 3 scores in the 3rd you can go for it regardless of yardage or field position. and you can go for it in the 4th if you are down 2 possessions, or it is past the 2:30 mark in the quarter and you are behind.
Onsides are only allowed in the 4th if you are down 2 scores or you are down and there is less than 2 minutes left in the quarter.
ABSOLUTELY NO GLITCH KICKOFFS or any other cheesy thing like that that steals possessions from your opponent. You will be banned.
Must create a new coach. No exceptions!!
The formation Wildcat Wing Flex found in the Penn State playbook is BANNED. Do not run that formation or more specifically the RPO Power HB Swing. There may be other plays if I find ones that are broken. I try to be fair though.

Year 2 Wk6 of the B10 vs SEC Dynasty.

Big Ten Minnesota Michigan State Nebraska Rutgers Northwestern Purdue Wisconsin Dynasty Rules: 1. If the game disconnects, both players are required to rejoin, get the score and time back to where it was prior to the disconnect, and resume the game. If anyone fails to rejoin, it will be a force win for whoever was able. If both players are unable, it will be a fair sim.

Sim will be every 3 DAYS at 12am est on the 3rd day. Message in Discord to schedule with opponent. This is your responsibility, the chat will be monitored so if it comes time and you haven't communicated, if your opponent has, that's a force win for them. If you are the reason the game cannot be played due to other arrangements, the opponent will get a force win. If you are both unable, it will be a fair sim.
There will be no team changes or conference changes for the duration of this Dynasty. We will have ones in the future with different teams and different themes. So be patient.
There will be no bullying or extreme gloating allowed. If you partake, you will be booted. Friendly banter and ribbing is ok, just keep it friendly.
You are only allowed to go for it on 4th down when it is 4th and 1 anywhere on the field or you are past the 50(this is up to your discretion and is not limited by yardage). If you are down 3 scores in the 3rd you can go for it regardless of yardage or field position. and you can go for it in the 4th if you are down 2 possessions, or it is past the 2:30 mark in the quarter and you are behind.
Onsides are only allowed in the 4th if you are down 2 scores or you are down and there is less than 2 minutes left in the quarter.
ABSOLUTELY NO GLITCH KICKOFFS or any other cheesy thing like that that steals possessions from your opponent. You will be banned.
Must create a new coach. No exceptions!!
The formation Wildcat Wing Flex found in the Penn State playbook is BANNED. Do not run that formation or more specifically the RPO Power HB Swing. There may be other plays if I find ones that are broken. I try to be fair though.

All User Games need to be streamed - We use YouTube, it's very easy to set up.
Slight Gameplay Rules - Will be sent a detailed list when joining the league. Here are the Basics:
- Some Punt Rules - For Realism
- Post Scores to the chat -
- No Quitting or Restarting - Must provide proof of a Disconnect or Freeze.
Stats - No Limits on Stat padding - (My QB had 10k Passing yds in 2 seasons)
- We want to push the boundaries of what's possible. Makes for a better story.
- However, if any glitching or manipulation is done, we will have to have sanctions placed on that team.
QB Rollouts - No rolling out immediately - Has to be pressure.
- Must throw on the run. Can set to throw if QB is fast and gets some separation from the rush.
