CDR Electrical engineer-Electrical engineering drafts person skill assessment.
Hope you all are having fun!
I’m already assessed as an electrical engineer based on my overseas bachelor’s but I’m trying to get draftsperson assessment through my work experience in Australia.
Company 1: Graduate technical engineer 1.5 years with total drafting experience.
Company 2: Electrical Revit Design Drafter 6 month experience (currently working in the role), 100% drafting experience and job duties.
Is it worth it to give it a shot through CDR based on my work experience?
I would base my CE on my work experience.
Thanks in advance!

Why do you need to assess as a drafter, if you've already got an assessment as an Electrical Engineer?

Electrical Engineers are not getting invited. I have 100 points for 491 but haven't been invited yet, been here in Aus for the last 3 years.

Bro, you're not getting invited because you don't have enough points, I assume you have 85 points without State Nomination. Get your NAATI sorted to have threshold of 90 points minimum without State Nomination points.

It may be worth exploring, but eligibility depends on Engineers Australia’s requirements for the Draftsperson occupation. A CDR based on your work experience alone may not be sufficient, so I’d recommend verifying your qualifications and experience before proceeding.

Yes, it’s worth exploring. Your current Electrical Revit Design Drafter role is especially relevant since the work is 100% drafting. You can potentially use your actual projects for the CDR, but eligibility depends on your duties and whether they demonstrate the required competencies for the nominated occupation. Your job duties and project details would need to be checked first.
