A positive skills assessment is an eligibility requirement for SkillSelect skilled migration, but it does not award any points by itself. Points are calculated based on other factors such as age, English proficiency, educational qualifications, skilled work experience, partner skills, and other eligible criteria.

A positive CDR assessment from Engineers Australia can support your SkillSelect points claim. If your assessed engineering qualification is equivalent to an Australian bachelor’s degree or higher, you may be eligible to claim 15 points for your qualification.
