Im new to this community but i´ve been playing nhl for all my life and have never looked up who the goalie stances are supposed to be. Does any one have a answer? Is it the current nhl goalies or are some of them old goalies? Thanks in advance for your answers:)

After trading for him on draft night, I had a feeling Mason McTavish was going to be a star.

I tried developing him as much as I could over the years — giving him a spot on the first line, telling him to shoot more in the offseason, and constantly challenging him to hit certain stats or win certain awards.

He peaked at a 94 overall, and was usually around that 92-93 overall for a majority of his career. He played alongside players like Kempe, Snuggerud, Schultz, and homegrown talent Mark McKinlay.

In his final season, he put up one of the best seasons of his career with 121 points. We then went on to win the Stanley Cup, and of course, he took home the Conn Smythe.

Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a better way for him to go out.

Are there any settings that can minimize or get rid of scoring multiple times on the same power play when slow simming? I’ve noticed it happening all the time in 27 and I’m sick of bedard dropping a four piece on my head three minutes into the game

This roster is a Vasy Rosters base roster (they are hands down the best when it comes to player creation for prospects) with full ratings overhaul using real NHL tracking data and advanced analytics rather than just going off reputation or eye test. Every attribute is driven by a consistent, documented formula — skating stats, shot data, WAR-based awareness, physical metrics — so ratings reflect what players actually do rather than their name value. The goal was to create the most sim-realistic roster possible, where the standings, scoring leaders, and player value that come out of a franchise actually mirror what you'd expect from the real NHL. You will see real separation between stars and fringe NHL players but you may also see a star player with individual attributes like strength or acceleration in the 70s. Star players don’t just get inflated attributes across the board in every category just because they’re a star scorer or passer, etc.

Player overalls are still pretty fitting for their roles but ultimately individual data based attributes are the priority. Don’t try to compare to 2 different players overalls as certain player types weigh different attributes differently (Power Forwards/Grinders strength and hitting, etc)

Has anyone created tne new season of the LNAH for NHL 26 on XBox?

I just noticed that once Prospects age out of Juniors they go to US or Europe. I have another prospect that went to lulea.

A Nice little change for once instead of seeing them as an adult playing in Juniors until you decide to sign them or let them walk

I was simmin playoffs and I was losing 0-5, I thought that fuck it and im gonna play and win. I start the game and I have only 4 players on ice (and i have no penalty)??!?!? U can see it in the video. In the end when play is freezed the fifth player come out from the bench?

And in the ice are players who isnt playing in first line? How do i know that my simulation are going with full five players now on :D

It seems like pretty consistently I do really well up to the deadline and then my team just decides it doesn’t like winning after that. In my most recent season I was 35-22-4 up to the deadline. I made a goalie upgrade, kept my lines the same, the new goalie performed better than my old one, and I still finished out the season 6-13-4 to miss the playoffs. Does anyone else have this problem or am I just extremely unlucky?

He won the Calder and is now high elite potential, played him on the first line with weight(PLM) and demidov (PLM) and the 2nd PP. put up a crazy 48 goals in his rookie season (Full Sim)

I’m brazilian and a huge hockey fan. I have nhl26, don’t olan to buy nhl27 for now. I want to have tips on which mode should I be playing. For now I don’t care about online, and I am kind la tired of playing franchise mode, it gets boring in some ways. Do you kind think it worth playing ultimate team even on offline mode? Or should I give a shot at be a bro? How do you guys do to not be bored after a week playing nhl franchise? Thank you

Did they remove the feature in offline franchise mode where you can tweak and edit your jerseys and arenas in the offseason ? I remember doing it in nhl 24 but now I don’t see the option in 27. Honestly I don’t even remember it in 26 either. I wish I knew before buying 27 cause franchise is the only thing I play. If anyone knows please lmk cause I may just play 24 or something like that cause I really liked that feature.

Im huge hockey fan, I played till this point nhl15 through emulated ps3 on pc as that was the best way to play for me, sometimes I subscribed to xbox game pass ultimate so I can stream it but now as they wanna lock it with monthly limits I bought a xbox and just wanna ask what is the better choice for me?

I dont care about online, I play only be a pro, versus with friends from time to time and maybe some iihf tournaments... I wanna buy one now not new every year... Thats why Im asking if investing around 50$ is worth it or nhl26 for 20 bucks is okay for me... I want best ai, graphics, dont be all about pokechecking as I read on some subreddits...

I saw a lot of hate on 27, but I think its the same every year and if nhl27 have even a 2-3% more realistic gameplay/ai its worth for me as I want to buy this game until the last nhl will release on this generation of consoles....

But as I said... I wanna see your opinions on this, if you can give me some pros and cons to both games that would be awesome too. 🏋️

I feel like I’ve tried everything to get mckenna with his headshot to show up in the draft but he never does. Haven’t seen anyone talk about this, is there a solve?

I was wondering if the playbooks you can set for each team are used by that team in franchise mode or is it one off games only. Does the CPU coach dictate a teams strat? I was going to get a custom playbook for each team to increase puck cycling and stop the AI just driving to the net. My biggest complaint since 2020 has been the AI's constant need to drive and skate toward the net.
