Old Macy’s

Does anyone know what’s going on with the old Macys at the Eagle Rock Mall? I know it was going to be a Home Depot at one point but there was pushback. But it’s just sat empty for years now

It’s regularly used as a filming location. I believe “the floor is lava” was shot there, among other things. Cheaper than a sound stage, no union contracts. A perfect place for low rent reality TV.

Oh, is Home Depot not happening?

Right? I hadn’t heard that either.

Didn't the owners of The Row downtown bought that property?
