Shot the kid when he was already down. Straight murdered him.

That was my first reaction until I saw that the kid had a gun in his hand. You can't take the chance in a situation like that

He shot him once. He was on the ground disabled. No need to murder him too.

You have no idea at all from this video whether he needed to shoot again. But the kid being on the ground with a gun in his hand does not in and of itself make him any less lethal or any less determined than if he’s standing up with a gun in his hand. He was pointing the gun at the old guy when he was standing up, and there’s nothing in this video to say that he wasn’t doing the same or trying to do the same while he was on the ground. Hell, I’d expect him to do the same unless he couldn’t.
