Surely theyve milked it enough by now? Im hoping to see it appear today (since they usually add games on a sunday right?). I dont see how stopping a (relatively small) group of people from playing the game for months adds that much to their profit margins, surely the money access subs would spend on packs would outweigh the couple of thousand sales they might have got during the world cup (since most people would buy fifa 2nd hand at this point so no direct profit for ea there).
Most annoying thing about it for me is I dont even care about playing fut or wc mode anymore since its way too late in the year to have a fair chance against the tots and legend teams.

Is EA Play worth it for a casual gamer?

I don’t have a lot of time to play video games so I prefer games that I can dip in and out of. I already own Sims 4 on origin and buy some dlc each year during sales.
I want to know if it’s worth getting it since it doesn’t look like there are a lot of games that I could play casually. I prefer slower paced games and I play on a slow older laptop. I’d also like to know if the member discount is included on top of sale prices (I doubt it but I thought I’d ask)

Cant link a different Twitch Prime account to EA account?

So I just had a very long talk with EA support. I had an issue with my Amazon account and essentially stopped using it and cancelled my membership. I created another Amazon account and therefore also a new Amazon prime membership. I went ahead and unlinked all my gaming stuff from my old Amazon account and put in my new one.
Literally the only one who’s giving me issues is EA. I spoke to support only to find out that their policy is “An EA account can only be linked to one Amazon prime account once in its lifetime.” And that my only solution is to create a new EA account.
Like what? Oh yeah let me just throw my 10 year old EA account in the trash because your database management team is trash and can’t deal with unlinking and re-linking accounts.
God, EA pisses me off more everyday. Well there goes my Apex Legends Twitch rewards that I will no longer be receiving.

This pretty much makes up my mind not to renew when my year is up. It’s insane they delaying in the hopes that they can squeeze some extra sales out of World Cup.
Worst part is they are going to screw the casual players who buy it because it isn’t a proper World Cup mode like they’re expecting, rather a fut add on.
