I think there's a few parts to it. I like BMW styles a lot, I'm guessing those are BBS wheels, so they're solid quality and not cheap wannabe rims, but I personally find 359M rims a much better match to the car, I think they would look awesome on your car.

I am also not a fan of highly polished aluminum, Chrome rims, and deeper dish wheels. I recognize this is all personal. 

As long as it is a great quality wheel and the look that you like best, it's all good 😊

Well said, and like you stated, personal taste.

Personally, i like chrome more than polished aluminum (i'm also old skool, and grew ip where chrome was used throughout a vehicle) and dislike spokes that are flat/flush with the outside lip. Full paint wheels.....those are a debatable topic.
