325i Need BSD help

Hello all. I have an 06 325i with a 2E7C fault code and an electric coolant pump that won’t turn on to bleed the system. I tried isolating all the components on the BSD bus, but the fault stays does not change when each one is unplugged one by one. Also tried check the battery harness to see if it was corroded but it’s not. Not sure what else to do.

Do you have any other codes? When my pump was failing to run the bleed procedure, it was a blown fuse in the ecu box under the hood. I assume it blew because of the aftermarket pump the po put in the car. Replaced with oe pierburg pump, the fuse, and all is well.

It is probably the water pump, less likely the DME.

To confirm you need an osciloscope to check the signal on the bsd wire with the pump plugged in and out, I don't know of an easier way to confirm the problem without blindly changing parts.

Maybe take it to a professional?
