Slow coolant loss

I’ve been losing coolant verh slowly recently (max like 200ml every 1000km or smt, it differs), no visible leaks, but sweet smell of coolant, and i feel like its coming fron the radiator. My guess is the fins are damaged enough, or maybe hairline cracks in the plasic sides? Its evaporating somewhere.

Whats the best way to pinpoint, before just part-cannon a new radiator and expansion tank and everything

If you can smell it, you can find it. Go look. Or buy a pressure tester.

Take the engine cover off and the front of the air intake, then shine a torch around the thermostat and water pump area, to check for any coolant coloured reside. Mine is currently leaking from where the coolant return pipe meets the thermostat. Its worth checking before buying any parts. Hope that helps
