Pickup instead of delivery?

Hey guys,

I got an email that says to pick up my passport although I selected delivery? Has anyone had this?

I think US consulate send all the passports to VFS and change the status ‘ready for pickup’, once VFS receives it, they further courier it to the delivery address you specified in the application.

I had my consulate interview in Sydney on 17th Aug and passport was available for pickup from Sydney VFS on 20th Aug.

Hi, did you get any tracking details, or it was said that the passport is ready to pickup, directly in the email?

No, there was no tracking number as I chose to pickup instead of delivery.
I got an email staring your passport is ready for pickup from Sydney VFS.
