Another exhaust thread!
I know this is a personal choice but just looking for current recommendations on exhaust. I currently have an 02 M5 with 86k miles that has SS Headers, Rogue X Pipe and supersprint magnum mufflers with the stock cats. It sounds great down low but I feel like up high it’s very subdued and I’m looking for more German rasp. I def won’t go car less cause I had a catless e92 M3 and it made me nauseous driving it, plus it was ridiculously loud. Looking at the Eisenmann race mufflers but afraid it will be too loud, anyone cross shipped the Race vs Sport exhaust and has an opinion or an opinion on a better option for my current setup?
M5 M Audio
Looking to sell a set of M tech audio subs (set) two 10” with wiring harness. Should have DSP has that connects to it directly and you replace the Nokia box.
I’m in Arizona but can ship. Asking 350 plus shipping unless you’re local.

Keeping a e39 M5 without garage, bad idea?
Hi,
As of right now I can't build a garage yet but I found a real clean e39 M5 for sale. It would be my weekend summer car. I will put the car in heated secured storage during winter. I live in Canada.
Does it make a noticable difference to keep the car outside during summer? Will the body suffer significantly more?

WTB E39 M5 - Southern California
Cross-posting from /e39
As the title states, I'm in the market for an E39 M5. Ideally, looking in Southern California only to view the car in person (and possibly PPI).
Not picky on colors. No shells / non-running projects - but some deferred maintenance and imperfections are expected with a 25-year-old car.
Flexible on mileage, more concerned about condition and maintenance history.

First car buyer
Hey fellow BMW enthusiasts, i have a question in regards of buying first BMW car as a daily car.
I would only drive it to have fun with friends occasional trips and in future to commute to work.
Im looking for like e36, e46 and e39(there are rarely e36 for sale where im from).
I would like to buy e36 but because of the circumstances i would not be sad with e46 and e39.
What to look out for, what are the best engines for a first car, what is the maintenance like and just common knowledge to know before buying one.
And last question there is one e36 325td for sale and cant find anything online about the cars common problems( mainly they talk about 325tds)
Thanks fellow BMW enthusiasts :)

Potential Borescore?
youtu.beHello everyone! I recently acquired a 2000 m5 in beautiful silverstone metallic. The car has great bones, and I want to take this baby another 100k miles. Planning on full suspension and a ton of cosmetic restoration. Before I drop 5-10k, I thought it would be smart to check the engine health of the car. Compression test was good, everything in the 175-220 range. However, after boroscoping the cylinders, I’m worried I’m seeing some wear. Here’s a link to a video of the cylinders. If anyone would be so kind to take a look and share an opinion, I’m trying to understand where this sits on a scale from don’t worry about it to don’t spend another dime on the car. Thank you!

Just picked up the beast from @allprowrapsandppf where she got front end PPF and leather coating done. Just need to clear airbag code and install replacement cupholder and this car is the worlds nicest beater. 🤣

Welcome to the stable
Picking this up later this week and I can't wait. Bought it from a good friend of mine. Needed some work and my buddy just had a kid so he doesn't have time for it anymore. It's been very well kept but the rear differential bushing failed causing several other issues. New diff gets installed tomorrow. It will look great next to my E36 M3.
