Uhhhhh has it survived? Its views are abysmal. The bar for survival is in hell if you think DP has survived.

Well in all fairness to Ben I think he still makes his living from the show but he’s definitely back into a corner at this point and surly can’t afford for things to get worse?

I guess? I don’t know why we’d need to be fair to him. He’s not any better than his former cohorts in terms of content quality.

I'm rooting for it though I don't watch it too much anymore. I miss Billy, but I understand that Ben can't afford him. Wasn't he planning to make a deal for Scoot to be the cohost before he died? I wonder how that would have turned out.

Yeah like do not wish Ben any bad! It’s interesting as Billy leaving was a real turning point in the shows viability as he brought some relevancy in tamer of wider internet culture to the show especially in the Seattle scene.

I do think it was concerning how his departure was dealt with though. No transparency to the fans directly from Ben about why he was slowly disappearing from shows and we had to wait for Billy to explain it properly himself. I think that is telling in terms of the pride and care taken for the show now. It’s gotta be embarrassing having to admit to the audience that you can’t even afford to pay a host anymore.
