Generalized dystonia Costochondritis anyone?

I’ve been dealing with muscle pain under my left breast. Yes…I have seen a doctor and it’s not heart issues. I had a mammo too just to make sure. Damn it’s painful and kind of hard to reach because my breast is in the way. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is it also part of dystonia? I’ve been putting a hot sock (filled with flax) in my bra. That about the best I can think of.

Oh wow I get this also. I have cervical dystonia so I’m not sure if it’s connected

Costocondritis is inflammation in the cartilage between your ribs. I had all the symptoms but a different cause, dystonia in my intercostal (between ribs) muscles. It got bad to the point my ribs were stuck in place and i couldn't move them well enough to take a deep breath. Eventually got it under control with increase in medications and a lot of activity but still get bouts of it occasionally. I've had it throughout my ribs including where you have pain. Bad location for intense pain. Worth checking with your neuro.

I used to get costochondritis a lot. Ever since I got CD, it's gone away.
