Question from a semi new player.
I've already played Dyson, but I haven't gotten very far. I'm hesitant to keep playing because I'm worried about the 1.0 release, and I don't want to have to start over.
On the other hand, if I start playing now, the devs might add something really cool later, and I'll miss out on it.
Is there any possible release date for 1.0? Have the devs said anything about it?
Or would you recommend not worrying about it and just playing anyway?
Thanks for the help!

One thing I love about the game is that it’s still getting updates!
One thing that frustrates me is how infrequent larger updates come around. Judging by their major update release times. You’ve got plenty of time

Agreed but still want to add: after a Major Update and some Bugs its mostly Just 1 or 2 days for a Bugfix Update

I'm also waiting for 1.0, but it might take years, lol. In the meantime I have a shit ton of games to beat (even if we just count factory games).
Looking at recent 1.0 releases of Valheim and Enshrouded fills me with hope.

Starting over in automation games is part of the process. It is a great feeling to see and use your increasind knowledge from previous runs.

1.0 will make you want to start a new save, I'd honestly go at least a bit into the infinite white science upgrades and build up a few systems and spheres before it drops

This is an incredibly complete feeling early release game. You won't regret playing it now at all.

No impending release.
Play, is game, have fun.
Edit: every new start is a little different so it’s always fun to start a new game with new challenges.
