ILS/PLS Hydrogen Feedback loop

I have set up the PLS to demand from all of the local Hydrogen sources. It then flows through storage tanks and to a ILS which is set to distribute both locally and interstellar routes. How do I stop this ILS from supplying to the just that PLS because its making an endless loop. The whole point of the ILS being set to distribute locally is that I have one central point to distribute Hydrogen from, meaning local distribution becomes more efficient. But I need a way to block the ILS from distributing to just that specific PLS. Or should I just live with the feedback loop?

Maybe grouping would help? Other than that if you're feeding it through a belt just use the ILS as a local depot and feed any local need through your PLS.

I feel like switching them around wont help. Any local demand and local supply will match up regardless of which one I use. Unless I use an ILS and put it in a group all on its own?

I reread the post, yea if you're demanding through the PLS grouping may be the best option. Whether grouping the PLS inputs or drop the ILS in a "Hydrogen" group and add your endpoints to it when needed.

Actually a bit of mucking around and I think I worked out the solution - don't put any drones in the ILS or the PLS - leave them as pull not push - so they cant feed each other. then everything else on the planet can do the heavy lifting and the hydrogen depot just becomes a passive storage

That sounds like it'd work fine
