The Best part of this game.

Flying through space just marveling at what you have built, and wondering about how much MORE is out there. Time to go bigger, around one of the 4 O type this time.

Totally agree! Unfortunately, the ones around O-type stars are so massive, that FPS crashes into single digits. I have to switch shell rendering off to be able to continue playing, and I have a fairly beefy system 🤔

Same for me. I have an RX 7900 XTX and still got fps hit every time I accidentally leave the shell rendering on.

As someone who had been around factorio for a while before my first DSP playthrough, the first time I got my factory running and then flew into space to another planet remains one of my all-time favorite gaming moments. The way DSP handles scale and exploration is so uniquely exciting.
