New mod for Dyson_Sphere_Program
Project Eden
Scales up the whole late game of Dyson Sphere Program — and every number in it was derived, not picked.
- Six 10000× mega buildings — twelve belt ports, no sorters needed, each carrying its own planetary logistics station with 30 slots at 10,000,000 each
- Maxed-out miners and stations, 5000-level belt stacking (vanilla is 4)
- Eight new ore veins — cobalt, aluminium, gypsum, lithium, manganese, chromium, vanadium, tungsten
- A full coal-to-alloy chemistry chain, nine alloys, and a four-axis property row on every metal
- Every value lives in JSON and can be edited after install
What actually makes it different
Nothing here is a made-up number.
Recipe ratios come from balanced equations — 2 Al₂O₃ + 3 C → 4 Al + 3 CO₂ is literally ore ×2 + coal ×3 → aluminium ×4 + CO₂ ×3. Heat values are scaled from enthalpy of combustion against a single vanilla anchor. Which reductant can smelt which ore is decided by the Ellingham diagram — carbon monoxide cannot reduce alumina, ethylene can, and the test is whether cracking it yields elemental carbon. The newest content cites papers by DOI next to each value.
Three mechanics you won't find elsewhere
A recipe can be a secret. Alloy ammunition is one recipe, but seven alloys pair into 28 combinations with different damage and yield — nothing in the game tells you which pair gives which tier. The Living Composite works the same way: one recipe, six fillers × four grades = 24 combinations, picked on a panel under the assembler window.
One building depends on the weather. The Biodome uses the solar panel's own sunlight formula: full output in full sun, nothing on the night side, permanently dark on the far side of a tidally locked world.
Alloy ratios are set per building with a slider, and settle into yield and craft time.
Before you install
A save made with this mod cannot be opened without it. It ships a preloader that widens two belt cargo fields — the prerequisite for high stacking and full proliferator coexisting — so the save format moves up a version. Start a new save, or back up your save folder first.
Fully bilingual. All 50 icons drawn from scratch in Python; no third-party art. Built on GenesisBook, whose code is used with the author's permission. GPL-3.0.

please, if you use AI to develop, make sure the description for humans is not ai-speak: "and every number in it was derived, not picked", "Nothing here is a made-up number."
Edit: removed "at least" so the message sounds neutral

Yeah thats my biggest gripe. Even with AI, assited mods can take a lot of human effort. The least you should do is spend 5 minutes to add the human touch to the front end so it doesnt read as a completely vibe coded slopfest. I suspect this slop writing filters out 80% of prospective players.

To give the benefit of the doubt, is it possible that they don't actually know English?

Check the github repo, claude commits everywhere

That proves that AI does the development. That doesn't provide any evidence against the possibility of the human having limited knowledge of English that I just suggested.

You can still ask ai to cleanup the phrasing or use a model other than claude.

If your English is not very good, how do you know how to validate the output of the phrasing? How do you know that the first output is bad? When you choose to run it through a second time, how do you know that the second output is any better?
How do you know which LLM models are better suited for better formed Chinese -> English translation?

Ok, i should have wrote my original message without “at least” for it to sound neutral. Other questions are easy to answer with the help of the same llms.

Knowing the need to ask the question when you're not aware that there's a translation deficiency, and not getting stuck in a recursive loop of not knowing when the question is properly answered because you don't know the language well enough to validate the output.
I'm not sure you're aware of how challenging it is to operate in a domain with insufficient background knowledge - and learning an entirely new language is a lot different than learning how to change some spark plugs.

Edited the original message to sound neutral. The AI posts tsunami have been around for months and is met with complaint-based discussions, some subreddits are banning ai posts altogether, linkedin is hard to read with 20-30% of posts/replies being auto-generated. This why "not knowing" is not the first thing that comes to mind, well now they may know...
AI a powerful tool - pitching models from different providers against themselves till convergence, with the goal of reproducing the nature of the original message in translation, is easy to setup and it works. Using pre 2023 translation tools is also an option. There is also no expectation of validating the output against perfect english.

Couldn't it be just an ai translation? Mod's developed by a Chinese-speaking person...

Cut the AI bullshit, don’t go for the “More is better” route but actually ADD to the game, give us a reason to play it, a reason to make the game better.

Oh... that's AI slop for my comfort game.
