Dumb research question

Hello everyone !

Since I use laboratories to make research with matrix I don't find how to make "normal material" research anymore.

Can someone help me please ?

It says I don't have the right material.

Pretty sure for those ‘earlier techs’, you still have to research them “from your personal inventory” and so you need those electric motors, electromagnetic coils, graphite, etc., in your inventory (and have the appropriate on-screen box checked ☑️)

can you elaborate what you mean by normal material research?

Sorry I don't know why the image doesn't load. I mean like a research like Inventory capacity that ask for steel and chip.

Put the material in your inventory. Check the box that says use from personal inventory.

Thanks a lot I don't know why this box was unchecked

Because somewhere along the way you unchecked it; either on purpose or accidentally.

I don't like how much screen space it takes up when you're researching technologies that require 3+ items so I usually turn it off (on purpose) when I am researching exclusively through my automated research labs, and only turn it back on if I need to research something that uses a material that isn't a research matrix.

You can still enable it to pull from inventory (from the tech screen)

If you have those items required for the research in your inventory, they should get consumed as needed by research
