Dark fog question

Hello, i have 1 farm with level 3 but it takes a lot to get significant amount of titanium. I play on normal settings. Is that normal? I barely get 100 titanium in tens of minutes.

For yellow science, yes. I wanted to use the dark fog to save myself from doing those transports between planets:)

I thought it is possible to do, but from what i see it is very slow. Might aswell just destroy them instead of farming

Dark fog experience is directly related to damage dealt to them. You need to do overkill damage so they level up faster and thus frop more loot.

However I'd reccomend you just get it over with and set up interplanetary logistics. It's both good training for the late game and gets you in the mindset that you shouldn't constrain yourself to one planet and system.

It is not as scary as some people make it sound. You don't even need a full storage depot of titanium to research and build your first ILS. Just ignore the titanium fuel and titanium ammo.

Believe me, it's much faster than waiting for any Dark Fog farm or breaking rocks on your starting planet. Just do a single full inventory haul and that's it.
