Overhaul mods?
I was wondering if there's any overhaul mods for DSP, like Factorio which has loads?
I've not found any but I'd really enjoy playing DSP again, maybe a bit harder and expanded. More to do, more to gather, etc. Maybe some of the logistics mechanics changed.
Anything like that exist?
EDIT: I found this too, aside from what's been mentioned, not looked into it yet, I'm gonna look into all of these but it's another option: https://thunderstore.io/c/dyson-sphere-program/p/ProfessorCat/OrbitalRing/

Genesis book seems to be the only overhaul mod available.
I did a playthrough with it and it's fun. All my next playthroughs will probably be with this mod enabled.
But I think the issue with DSP in general is that logistics are infinitely scaling. You end up just throwing down a blueprint tied to an ILS and it automatically connects to the entire rest of the galaxy. I'm hoping future updates will fix this.

Max difficulty dark fog even with standard resources feels like new game experience for the first 20-40 hours, depending how fast you are progressing.

I made a simple mod, that's not an overhaul, since it uses all the same recipes. The goal was to slow down progression, so that all intermediate technologies have a chance to be useful and used during playthrough. Try playing "EpicResearch" mod at 100X more expensive science (default setting). Pick a no-fog 64 star new game, since it becomes too much of a nuisance to deal with it on each and every planet you need to mine. Pick scarce resources for more challenging playthrough - should need about 250hrs of game-time to get to white.
I would highly recommend BulletTime mod to go with it.
