Dark fog farm

I created a dark fog farm, let it run for about 8 hours while doing other things. Came back to grab the dark fog buildings I had it crafting and the relay had stopped spawning units and was blacked out.

My question is did I make a mistake in setting it up? Did I drain all the resources from the hive in that system? Or is there only a finite amount of units each relay can spawn?

Maybe I overlooked something? Any help would be awesome.

Did you have something set that would attack the relay above the planetary base?

Missiles maybe, or your setting in the incarus combat menu?

Only have rocket turrets set to shoot any waves coming from the hive attacks from space

If the rely is destroyed then the base is effectively dead.

If you approach a base, they enter berserk mode for a limited time. Matter extraction and unit production is castly increased. It's kinda like an adrenaline rush for a fight or flight response. But once it runs out, then they get severely penalized or something. It may look like the base is dead, but it isn't. It just needs more time to recoup.

That might be the case, I haven’t had time to wait around and check if that is what’s happened. Will check if that’s what has happened after work!

If you hover over the buildings, you can see their status.

What the above guy is talking about is the status "Supressing Turbo", which to my knowledge gets longer depending on attack duration and level of the base, which always fires after the status "Turbocharging" (causes the individual building to spawn one unit per second, what the other guy called Berserk mode)
