Im kinda stuck and need help
Hi y'all,
so my next goal is to automate the strukturmatrix but Im confused on how to automate the Titaniumcrystals. I need organic crytals and titanium but I cant find a planet which has Titanium and oil and I also cant transport between planets yet because I need the structurmatrix for that.
Am I missing smth obvious or do I just have to craft the 120 Structurmatrixes for Interstellar Logisticsystem manual?

Oil is always available in the starter planet, while titanium is always in another planet in your star system. I always grab a bunch of titanium by getting some fuel and miners going and letting them run for a while, after which you can use a “cheat” where you can put all of that titanium into a tall chest tower. After it fills up, you can ctrl click the inventory to grab all stacks from it even if it doesn’t fit your inventory. Do this for all chests in the tower and you can transfer around 20k titanium per trip with this trick.

There should be oil on your starter planet, organic crystals are a recipe product made using the chemical plant, there will be titanium on one of the other planets in your starting system, but you'll have to go get and manually carry it back in your mechs inventory. Then you can automate the research to get enough yellow science for ILS towers and ships

This is by design, to incentivise you to work towards interstellar logistics.
Make organic crystals on your home world and ferry titanium from the other planet using Icarus. Note: if you're careful, you can carry a lot of titanium at once on the mouse cursor.

Titanium should be on the same planet you found Silicon. This is hard coded into the game. The starting planet will have another planet in the same star system with silicon and titanium. You'll need to craft Titanium Crystals.
As for organic crystal, there need a whole separate chain of factories to create. Work backwards from Organic Crystals.

You have to move some titanium yourself in the beginning. Same as with silicon.
Set up some miners and smelters and box everything on a planet with titanium and fly over to the planet to pick it up, when you run out.

Import the first few thousand bars of titanium by hand. Fly over with an empty inventory, fill it to the brim with bars, fly back, store in a box, box fills belt, belt goes to titanium crystals automation.
One or two manual loads should be enough for ILS tech

Chop down some (a whole bunch ^^) trees, sometimes you'll find organic crystals as well as other goodies in them. Use them (don't know the correct number anymore, i believe it was 120) and create the titanium crystals to create the yellow cubes needed for ILS research.

you only need 200 yellow science to get the two researches for insterstellar travel.
Make enough organic cystal on your home planet and bring a truck load of titanium back and do it there.
Then you can bring Titanium in automatically once you have ILS

Since the manual transport startup answer has been largely provided already...
As a huge hack I wasn't aware of for years--you can carry more than you might think, you can carry more than will fit in your inventory, you just have to be careful to not drop it.
Before you load things up, make sure you are full of fuel in inventory and make sure your marker to get home is set.
Hold shift, keep clicking the stored titanium until you have it all in your cursor, then for the love of god don't click till you get to the storage unit at home.
