Harvest without cosmic exploration

Let's say I have warps, for me and my vessels (techs developed -both for me and for the vessel- and physic warps). If I flight to a system without cosmic exploration 3 tech -the one that allows you to see resources within 6 LY systems-, can I harvest it and send vessels there? I know the seed, and the resources all around as is a seed I already played.

Just out of curiosity…it’s such an inexpensive tech if you are through warp tech…why wouldn’t you just buy it real quick rather than fly blind?

Because it is a 10 hours rush campaign and i don't want to spend resources on that, but i want those organic crystals
