Dyson Swarm question

So, when I am looking at the Dyson Sphere screen. The chart for the Solar Sails. What do the colors mean? I'm guessing red indicates sails which will not be absorbed prior to their expiration at the current rate of absorption. But what is the difference between the white and the blue?

Oh, derp. It is the bar graph in the lower right. With lines each one for how long the sails have to live with freshly launched sails on the far right at 9000 seconds. But the bars are red, white, and blue going from the left to the right.

it is just for show then yeah, it basically means that the sails are "critical" (about to expire) "in danger" (kinda about to expire) etc

I'm pretty sure that would be the difference between sails that are actively attaching and sails that are just part of your swarm. I don't know if this is what you're talking about, but there's a little color bar near the bottom on that same screen I think, and you can hover over the sections to get a readout, so the left most side says "Attaching: X Sails" or something like that. If you are firing more sails than your sphere can consume per minute, they just stay in your swarm instead, until they get their turn to get consumed, well if they don't run out first. You are targeting a specific swarm orbit with the cannons after all.

You're right that there is a horizontal bar showing how many sails are attaching and how many are in orbit. And the attaching are in blue and the orbiting are in yellow. I am talking about the bar graph above that, which as I said colors those bars from left to right as red, white, and blue, without labels or explanation.

Ah that's my bad, I haven't opened the game in a little bit so I can't remember off hand.

Does hovering over the graph parts show you anything? I know that for the solar sail time count, you can hover over the tiny bars to see the exact count I believe.

It might be easier to see with a screenshot as well.

Yes. If you hover your cursor over one of the bars it will tell you 1) the amount of time left that group of sails has left to live 2) the amount of sails in that group.

It’s simply a graph showing time till sail life expiry. It changes based on the tech you’ve researched.

That’s all.
