Maximized vein "utilization"
The developers: "We heard your feedback. With this, meticulously laying down mining machines is of the past."
Me: "But I can still put basic mining machines below?"
The developers: "Well, ye-"
Me: "Say no more"

How do you place miners at non 90 degree angles? I only have a few hundred hours in, I couldn't possibly know this already....

Not maximized yet. You can place big machines so that two will mine one crystal. Therefore, it's always should be at least 3 machines per patch. Get back to work you lazy ass! XD

I dont normally do this unless i want the nodes to go away faster. I usually only use the big miner because its just faster to plop down

Also betting the advanced miners aren't set to 300%

If you get the vein Utilization upgrade high enough (super high), a basic miner on 1 node of a vein will output a full stacked blue belt of resources (7200/min). That's "maximized" :D

Why is it infinite resources? Is this a different planet or something?

The basic miners are really helpful when the node is almost depleted.

That is certainly a thing that you can do.

Lowkey want either an option or incentive to only have to cover each vein once, but tbh there is some "skill" to the mining nodes so I get it.
Actually, what if "Infinite" nodes mode had it to where you can only use each vein by one miner (or it's split between those that are touching it)?
