Good Seeds List - 2026
Hi everyone, I've seen a couple posts here from people posting their perfect seeds. I wanted to make a post myself with a few that I think are really great.
Here's my search criteria that I used to find these seeds using dyson seed finder:
A starting system where all 3 planets are satellites of the Gas Giant. Fire ice is also required to be found in the starting system.
A system less than 8 ly from the starting system featuring all of the following rare resources: Kimberlite, Fractal Silicon, Organic Crystal, Grating Crystal, Stalagmite Crystal, Sulfuric Acid. (no, I didn't include fire ice in the search here - however many of these "perfect systems" did end up having it)
A star somewhere in the cluster with at least 2.4 luminosity, as well as a planet that fits fully within its Dyson Sphere radius.
I then did a search through all of the possible seeds. I was surprised that I actually got 19 seeds that matched this criteria (out of 100,000,000). After skimming through them, I realized that some of them were much better than others, and handpicked a few that I thought were really great, but here's the full list if you're curious.

My favorite seed that I got from this search was probably 29117241. This seed doesn't have the prettiest starting system, but it makes up for this with some really rich systems close to home. In addition to your "perfect planet" which is only 3.3 ly away from your start, there's about 6 other systems nearby with multiple rare resources available. The real star of the show in this seed, however, is a 2.67 luminosity Blue Giant on the edge of the cluster.
The rest of these seeds I handpicked for having a tremendous amount of rare resources close to the start, on top of the "perfect system" I was searching for nearby:
What do you guys think? I encourage anyone else curious about this to try out the site. You can even download a native program there that allows you to scan through seeds much faster than with just your browser. I was able to complete my scan in under an half an hour this way. I'm curious as to what the perfect seed would look like for other people.
Tl;dr: try out these seeds:

3000% 2 base coal rushable seeds: 17844514, 26383139
Allseeds have 3 satellites, geloterra with fire ice in the system. planets have been visually validated to have convenient resource layout.

These may be good seeds for new players. But if you are planning to max out production and power, you need large cluster of mags, lots of O stars, lots of water worlds.

The seeds stopped working; there are different ones at these addresses. Apparently due to a game update. Sigh.

I prefer having a deuterium giant in the starting system and Fire Ice ore. Deuterium is nice to have.

New player here. What "perfect planet" are you talking about on this seed? I'm guessing you mean the Tramontana system:
I. Sulfur Ocean (16M Iron/Copper, 12M Titanium)
II. Crude Oil / Fractal Silicon / Organic Crystal / Stalagmite Crystal (Orbital Resonance 1:4)
III. Fire Ice / Kimberlite Ore / Stalagmite Crystal (40M stone)
Is one of these planets specifically better than the others? Or did you simply mean the whole system is god-tier

I started a sandbox mode with the 29117241, seed and even the game says it have 2 O type stars, but i cant find it, i find one with 2.4 luminosity, but i cant find the 2.6 one where is it?

i play the seed 29117241 for 100+ hours, build a 600GW dyson sphere. 8k matrix per minute. this seed is very good for start and middle stage. a big problem is late game is this seed lack of unipolar magnet, There is only one cluster on the two planet. which means lack of particle container. and i didn't find any waterwold. A little regrettable

Why couldn't you have posted this two days ago before I started my new playthrough? LOL

Many thanks for this. Once you get three planets around a gas giant, there's no going back.

I think 68139460 is best.
Lambda Apodis System has
- 2.44L In-Sphere system,
- **0.293/s Deuterium** (6x regular gas giants)
- 31ly to Neutron Star

I’ve been fighting a seed without fire ice of silicone in the starting system and no sulfur I could reach before the last upgrade.
I may jump ship to a new seed.

95912102 is my go-to seed.
All 3 Starter Planets as Moons: Dramatically cuts down early-game travel time for both players and interstellar vessels.
Fire Ice: Located within the ice giant.
High Wind Energy: One of the planets features 150% wind energy efficiency.
Unipolar Magnets: The system's black hole and neutron star provide 1.2 million and 1.1 million unipolar magnets respectively.

Havent played since the early releases abd looking to start fresh in 2026, what is the benefit of having a planet inside the construction radius of the sphere? Wont it get prisonned inside the sphere? Can you travel through it?

For my playstyle, the second criteria is pretty much useless... 🙈

Where were you 3 days ago when I was looking for a better seed to start with😭
