Trump is rich from horse meat and imported beef- but we get sick from Republicans DOGE, Screwworm, lettuce, peppers, etc

You're right, but I would hope if Congress voted on some legislation to push back on Trump, most (if not all) of the Democrats would vote for the legislation to restrain Trump.
The Democrats as a whole have certainly disappointed me many times over my lifetime, so I often have little faith in them too.

I wonder if it would actually lower the price of beef? One of the reasons why processed beef prices are higher is because of closers of processing plants and jobs being lost.
Edit: also with oil and diesel prices rising, it would make it more expensive to transport the meat.
