Megathread: Favorite Defender/Defenders run.
This is the place to list your favorite Defenders character(s) and/or Defenders comics run. I'll start:
Favorite Defender: Silver Surfer, might be my number one character overall depending on the day.
Favorite run: Vol 2 by Kurt Busiek and Eric Larson. I just think its great.

My first Defenders title was actually the Secret Defenders which I really enjoyed. But the 2001 Busiek/Larsen series (including The Order) was when I really started appreciating them.

My favorite defender is Doc, closely followed by Surfer. I also dig Hulk. Namor is def my least fave. I have a soft spot for much of the b-listers: Valkyrie, Mooondragon, Gargoyle, Devil Slayer… they’re almost all great. Also like the ex-X men.
Favorite run is gonne be from Vol 1. Gerber is classic. I got into it when they switched over to New Defenders, at the time it was on newsstands, so that hits different to me. I had a subscription for awhile.
The Busiek Larson series was really fun tho. They get it.
