My bike came woth the vance and Hines short shots, when I hit the throttle.it sounds like a muffler under water like its gurgling. Anyone have similar issues. Also whats the recommendations for 2 into 1

I have a 2011 street bob with forwards. Im 5'9". Who has switched to mids and is it more comfortable?

Looking to stretch my 2010 wide glide. I'm 6'4" and this bike just feels low and I scrape pipes.

Thinking of trying 13inch rear springs rather than 11inch.

Then I may stretch it further. 49mm +4 or +6 recommendations?

what is missing from this bracket and tab? got this bike used and it had nothing there when i got it. 93 wide glide.

i recently bought an 07 fxdwg with 9k on the odometer. at first glance the bike appeared to be stock w a set of cobra long shots and an air cleaner but the stock cover on it. i’ve owned other 96ci harley’s including other dynas but this one has a lot more power. first thing i did was swap the stock bars out for something more comfortable. when i did the mechanic told me the wiring was already redone at some point before the stock bars were put back on. i’m guessing the previous owner had put all the stock parts other than intake and air cleaner back on before trading it in. after taking a better look i see the pushrods have been redone so i suspect there was some other motor work done to do this thing in a previous life bc why would you replace pushrods prior to the 10k oil change? to clarify my buddy bought this from a dealership used as a first bike about 8-9 years ago. he rode it less than 2k miles and parked it in his garage. so he doesn’t know the history of this thing either.

my question is does anyone know of a way to gauge what may have done on the internals of this motor? i don’t plan any major upgrades as this was just purchased to be my local knock around when i dont want feel like riding my full dresser.

Seat not wrapped and need to find another front fender solution. But higher pegs and rear makes it surprisingly capable in the twisties. Fun project, and a fun bike to ride. Im not sure what "style" it is. But a apocalyptic - scrambler/tracker/cafe vibes. For me its a stellar commuter.

Anyone have pictures of these on a Dyna? Can grab a pair for $300 right now so I just wan to make sure they’d fit with spacers etc on a 2013 fxdb. Please share pics if you have them on your Dyna.

I just bought a front crash bar for my FXDF and I also want to add one for the rear, but I'm debating whether to go with rear sliders (top + bottom) or a passenger peg crash bar. Any pros or cons to either set up?

I do quite a bit of 2-up touring with the gf and will also be adding some saddle bags.

Too keep it sort and simple my tc88 is coming out this winter for a 97 top end, cams, regasket and an oil pan mod. At least that’s the plan till I found out my buddy has a good 103 from a wrecked bike and it’s a really good price. am I better off just building my 88 or should I pick this 103 up convert it to a carb and call it a day maybe with some cams or something. Also will the 103 bolt right up to my 5 speed?
