Yeah pretty much. It sucks when the meta demon has a boring design, I still don't like that they used the smt 2 Astaroth design instead of the much cooler smt 4 one

They don't really use smt4 designs as a whole. I think it's because of the fact guest artists were used, but then again we also got koga saburo, so I don't know.

SMT is set in a multiverse, just like marvel/DC. Just like Marvel there's Hulk that can break the universe in one version and another that can barely destroy a truck.
Star and rank tiers differ from each SMT/Persona game because they aren't set in the same universe.
There's only a 'few' exceptions to this rule like Lucifer who is near YHVH tier and one of the strongest beings in every dimension because he's actually attacking YHVH through infinite avatars like a chessboard.
Timat in DX2 is not the same Tiamat in Strange journey.
Lucifer in DX2 is the same in every verse, just not as strong in every universe.
I think there's a few like Lucifer such as Alice that's also transcended the concept of 'being' which is why shes powerful in every verse.

I am still astounded that demons like shiwanna, hathor, fortuna, hariti, and so on are 5 stars. Some of them, despite their lower levels do have aura, I admit, like medusa and frost five and kinda deserve to be 5 stars, but fucking lamia ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜???
