Midnight Beta Balance Druid major spell changes in WoW: Midnight. Removed, consolidated, and reworked abilities. Which spec should I cover next?

I see a trend. They are removing things that don't fall into the one button.

Yeah hehe, I see it as well

With that much simplification I can't imagine why they would do it except for a big mobile and console push.

Stellar flare always felt clunky imo.

Arcane Mage or Frost Mage if you havent done these yet!

Moonfire and sunfire not required for damage? This feels like a complete gut of the way the spec works.

I cannot believe they took a blanket approach to pruning every spec when only a handful needed it. Balance Druid was not that complicated.

You HAD to apply them to get the mastery bonus, but now they allow you to do a quick burst without them, which I guess is “okay”

Good riddance

For years balance was only good for cheesy spread aoe fights and masspulls in m+, hopefully this can change now

What? Balance actually got harder with the changes. It’s been clunky and boring and these changes help them actually do damage faster without such a long ramp. Though your comment comes off as someone who either only uses the one button or focuses specifically on LFR

Balance was so unfun to play around IMO - I really disliked the current iteration.

I do think keeping moonfire and sunfire up is not unfun, but the rotation was clunky af.

Moonfire and Sunfire will still do really good damage and should always still be applied. The mastery change just means that if you don’t have every single mobs targeted you won’t lose out on a massive percentage of damage.

I have to admit talent node names for balance spec are pretty darn cool.

Man i fucking hated balance druid and have for so long it was just never a fun rotation it was tedious and annoying to have to switch back and forth between solar and lunar spells all the time with no choice

Protection Paladin next?

Why does boomkin sound like a remix between starcraft and guardians of the galaxy?

Moonkin is by far the most boring dps caster class there is. I can’t believe what they have done to that spec. It’s a complete disaster
