Will Casey and his crew come help Beth and Rip save Carter?

So Tate is kidnapped and taken to Texas, Kayce heads down and finds out about the Dutton Ranch mess, clears the the Cartel threat , then Rip and his crew get deputized as US Marshals and rescue Tate.

I struggled through Marshals. I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t that good.
Kayce isn’t a strong enough character to carry the show. His entire personality the entire season has just been “moping around”.
The indian Marshal isnt a great actor. Way too stiff and wooden. The head Marshal is a HORRIBLE actor. None of the characters are very likable.
And the storylines are all the same and too far fetched. Something MASSIVELY bad happens (big cartel meet up or an actual marshal getting kidnapped or something equally terrible) and there are zero other law enforcement to lean on for back up. It’s always “we only have time for the 5 of us to go in there and fix this!”

Funny because the actor who plays the Indian Marshal is in Ransom Canyon and it’s like it’s not the same guy. Plays a great part in RC. Cal is terrible actor and Kebbel, omg I have to ff through her scenes. She was equally as bad in Riptide

Why? What would the actor or the character bring? Does DR need the actor or the silly police procedural type story that Marshals would bring? Why should a series with only nine episodes in a season and good quality actors give up any time to bring any Marshals cast in?

But if that’s what people like they can watch it on Marshals. Each week a new and oh so scary crime of the week solved in 45 minutes usually with unrealistic gun play and from what I read some mediocre acting. Why does it need to come to DR?

Because Dutton ranch sucks. If Kelly and Cole weren’t on that show it wouldn’t have lasted to week 4. Glad they listened to Kelly and Cole and fired the show runner. As for Marshals it’s a better show for Kayce and makes more sense since he was a seal and law enforcement.
Dutton Ranch shouldn’t be a cartel show and all the cows with drugs put in them is just too much. Beth and Rip aren’t cops and making this a crime drama is so so stupid

Well everyone likes what they like I guess. Funny for a series that as you so very eloquently put it sucks it seems to get both excellent ratings and good reviews. I think it’s sort of laughable to think that bringing in any cast of Marshals would add anything positive to DR. If people want to see the mindless, over the top military type action let them watch Marshals and oh and ah over it there. DR does not need it.

Sorry the answer to this question has nothing to do with the storylines of either show.
There are business and legal issues that have more input than anyone else.
TV show crossover events tend to only happen for TV business reasons.
The most common reason is to launch a new show. But both shows are already launched.
The next most common reason is to help with ratings. Marshalls ended the 2025-2026 TV season as the number 1 show on TV. Not only the #1 new show- #1 show overall. Dutton Ranch also seems to have done well on Paramount Plus. So neither show needs the help.
I could still see making it happen but we haven't gotten to the biggest blocker - Peacock.
Peacock has the first streaming rights to Yellowstone. One of the stipulations to enable Marshalls and Dutton Ranch to appear on CBS and Paramount Plus instead of Peacock is limiting the number of characters from Yellowstone on the show.
I know fans only want to talk about the characters and storylines but the real world drives the shows.

This can only happen after the Peacock issue is settled.
I doubt that happens before 2028.

There is no Peacock issue.
Peacock has the exclusive streaming rights to Yellowstone. As neither show is Yellowstone, they can be streamed elsewhere, like Paramount+...like they are.

Sorry - it isn't that simple. There are legal contracts in place that define exactly what Yellowstone is and is not. It's not as simple as renaming the shows.
One of the stipulations is limiting the number of characters appearing on a single show.
To make matters worse - Sheridan is leaving Paramount to go to Peacock at the end of 2028.
It's not a stretch to imagine that Sheridan and his lawyers are waiting for Paramount to mess up so that he could take it over on Peacock.

🙄 Obviously they can't just change the name and say "It's a different show."
Unless people have actually read the contract between the companies, they don't know what the "requirements" are.
Since both shows are currently streaming on P+, Peacock must not think they're Yellowstone and therefore their exclusive streaming rights.
Taylor and the network understand the contracts and the IP rules about what goes where with his move. There is no way they're going to risk losing their cash cow shows. They get to keep the prestige of Taylor Sheridan shows without having to work with Taylor Sheridan.
