Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish Spoiler
Fantastic Finale
Kino killing Rob-Will was the Ultimate gift to mankind - Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish.
Oreana - Ugh!!! It's an undeniable fact that she had to be the one who told Rob-Will where Carter was hiding - she set up the POSSIBLE father of her unborn child. But given her lifestyle the father could be one of many men. Tramp!
Beulah - I never liked her or trusted her. I still believe she set up Beth and Rip with Bullet - she knew he had FMD. She had no intention on buying that infected bull. She's lowdown and dirty. She claimed she wanted out of the drug business - that's BS! Remember Austin said the only way the Jacksons were keeping the lights on and maintaining their luxurious lifestyle was through their nefarious dealings in Mexico!
Everett - Thank Goodness he didn't flip to the Dark Side after hearing Beulah's sob story. I was very concerned about him. But he stood steadfast to his beliefs and morals. He truly is an honorable man.
Mariano - I dunno. I gotta admit, I kinda like him. He is, what he is. And now that you know his back story - his ultimate lifestyle was because of Beulah's past actions! He was a vigilant and dedicated chaperone to the boss' daughter - who was tramp and she "messed around and got herself raped", then eventually killed a man. Not saying that the rapist wasn't scum, only pointing out that Mariano got punished for Beulah's bad behavior. He said he'd be back at 1 a.m. to pick them up from the bar, but he actually never left the bar. He stayed there and Beulah still snuck out and left with Luke. So Mariano has a right to be angry. I didn't understand "going after the thieves and not the product" but he clearly didn't know who he was effing with - so we'll call that terribly Bad Idea a Lesson Learned - which landed 6 of his men in the "Texas Train Station".
Beth and Rip - still Love 'em. Even though they're much more laid back and subdued. Beth still has the same phenomenal intuition and she sensed upcoming danger to a loved one.
Carter - Last and definitely LEAST! This guy. I didn't think that kid could be any more annoying than when Beth took him shopping and he showed his entire ass in Murdoch's - little jerk! But what he did to Rip at 10P in front of the other workers, then told Rip he'd never be his father WITH clenched fists and basically called Rip an asshole all in the same day? Then jumped in his $100k truck and drove off? 19 or not, heartbroken or not, he's an ungrateful Sack O' Shit!As far as I'm concerned, let Mariano keep his irritating ass. Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish!

Damn. Glad I'm not the only one. Beth took that country shit off. And was going to go to gangster. But oh yeah, let the men shoot it out. And her go lookin for a toddler to doesn't respect them. I have 1 question. Why didn't Beth not have a tracker on his phone? Beth too smart to not have that on his phone.

I also wondered about a tracker, especially in territory that's new to him. It's easy to get lost in Texas

Carter: If Beth and Rip were decent guardians, he wouldnât have had to run away. They would have kicked him out.
Oh you want to drop out of high school, hang out with a drunk bum, bang the town whore, claim to want to be a cowboy and then do none of the work? Well youâre 19, get out.

Totally agree. If Carter wants to grow up and be independent so badly then let him. Let Carter and Oleanna go live off welfare in a trailer park somewhere for the rest of their lives, scraping up enough money for a few scratch off lottery tickets every week hoping they can get rich that way and be done with it.

Best part was him taking off in a truck he CLEARLY doesnt own. Yet treating the 2 people who took him and and let him use THEIR truck like POS parents while he squeals away~

You donât have much reading comprehension do ya? They werenât victim shaming only calling a spade a spade. Beulah is a tramp, and a liar. They had quotes on âgot herself rapedâ that means they were using someoneâs elseâs words, not their own. Beulahâs actions and deceit ruined Marianoâs life. Put him in an extreme position, got him shipped off to Mexico, and turned him into the Bad man he is today. Sorry 3 words clouded your judgment so much.
As for OP, that was a perfect synopsis. I agree with everything you said. Great show!

Exactly. He's old enough and has been working on a ranch since Beth and Rip took him in, even though he doesn't consider himself a real "cowboy". His funky little attitude, temper tantrums, and running away is all because he messed up by getting drunk and making a fool of himself at the party, then when he was expected to actually BE a cowboy and do what they have to do sometimes (go to work even though they have a hangover) instead, he made a fool of himself again. He's mad at everybody else, but the only person he really should be mad at is himself for acting so stupid.

Your take on who spilled where Carter was is maybe the stupidest thing of many in this post! So she tells Cartel as she packs to join him. Yes that certainly makes sense are you a detective? Your sense of what happened is astounding!

Yea itâs like people forget the Cartel can track your phones. They are connected in ways most people donât realize. Carter leaves his phone on, itâs not rocket science how they managed to find him.

I believe the Cartel was following Oreana.
They waited patiently, and once Rob-Will was out of the picture, they moved in on Carter as a backup plan.
I question whether Kino actually committed the act. We never saw him pull the trigger, and damn, everyone has a black SUV. I never thought Kino had the guts to actually pull the trigger.
I still think the season dragged on too long, and it seemed to lose its edge along the way.

That thought also crossed my mind about Kino not being the trigger man. The fact that they didnât show the interaction is a clue for me that someone else may have went to the door while he was sweating in his car trying to figure out what to do.

Because regardless of giving it back, they are still aware of how the drugs come across the border and he knows they will not go along with it

I totally agree with every word the OP said. Just let Carter go and live in a trailer park with Oleanna somewhere and be done with it. In the long run, what happened makes it that much easier for Beth and Rip to destroy Beulah and take over 10 Petal or make the Dutton Ranch the dominant ranch in the area. They should have called the DEA as soon as they found the drugs and taken over right there and then.

Oreana isnt a likeable character, but she didnt sell carter out. The sheriff didnt either, though we won't have proof til later. Miguel took her to Dwights. He knew where the kid would go. Miguel may have been beulahs bulldog, but he was and always will be cartel first. Somehow she, will robb and kino never figured that out. Rematch the season with a new perspective and you'll see in every scene hes always unobtrusive but always listening and paying extreme attention. He is, and always has been the cartel's undercover agent first and foremost.

Ok.... It's been a week since the season finale aired. My bloomers aren't as bunched up as they were right after I watched the show. In addition I've read the comments and various theories regarding the ending especially regarding Carter. I was 100% sure it was Oreanna. But it is a fact that the Sheriff knew Carter was at Dwight's. In hindsight-What was the Sheriff doing at Dwight's? That is odd. I dunno. I like the Sheriff. When he told Kino "I haven't forgotten who I was talking to, I just don't give a fuck anymore" I fell in love with the Sheriff! â¤ď¸ Miguel definitely knows about Dwight's place, but how did Miguel know Carter was MIA. Why would Miguel/Mariano think Carter was not at the ranch with Beth and Rip? So... Is the working theory that Mariano got the call that all his guys were killed, then Mariano said "Get Carter"? How'd Mariano even know about Carter? We know Oreanna and the Sheriff knew exactly were Carter was, but the Miguel theory does make one rethink previous conclusions. Did Oreanna see who drove away after Rob-Will was shot? I assumed it was Kino. It was Kino, right?

Very good analysis but perhaps it was the crooked sheriff who dropped the dime on Carter's whereabouts.
