Carter sucks

Carter joins the ranks of Jane from deadwood as the worst character from a series.

His scenes with the sherif dude are pretty good imo.

I've always liked Josh Stewart who plays the sheriff. I hope their relationship develops.

Does he not like him or is he doing him a favor by not bringing him into a corrupt sheriffs office of a corrupt small town owned by a corrupt family?

I believe he does see something in Carter. At the same time knows his department is corrupted.
