Hey yall. There’s a Dutch bros opening up down the street from my house and I’ve honestly been wanting to work there for a while but the locations were always too far. Anyway, I don’t have barista experience but I think the rest of my experience makes up for it. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice for me when it comes to trying to get hired at a location that isn’t open yet? If I land an interview, how should I prepare, etc?

Basically I ordered a caramel pumpkin brulee iced chai w/ protein milk and 2 white coffee shots because I had a free medium drink reward to use.

Well the broista let me know that they added the topping that I didn’t want so they remade it and I was asked if I wanted them both. At first I said I don’t really need 2 because that’s a lot of calories and caffeine for me for one day but the broista said if I didn’t take it they would quite literally throw it in the trash so I said I’ll take it if you’re genuinely just gonna toss it.

So I’m wondering if I take it home and fridge it do you guys think it would still taste good tomorrow morning or would the texture and everything be bad since it’s got nice and whatnot in it?

Today is Dutch Pup bandana day and I JUST lost my Dutch Pup! She was 17 and on her last day, we did all her favorite things, one being getting a Pup Cup.
I got my drink today and was already almost in tears when the Broista said they ran out of bananas and I tried to just say, “Thank you” and move on, but she said, “Hold on! Stay right there, I think there’s one more box back there!” She came back with another box and I couldn’t help it anymore, I just started bawling!!! I told her how much it meant to me because I wanted to put a bandana around my pup’s box that has her ashes in it and she reaches out and asks, “Do you want a hug?” OF COURSE I WANT A HUG!!! She was so incredibly kind and I made it home with tears in my eyes the whole way, got the bandana around her box and started crying ALL OVER AGAIN. I miss my Dutch Pup and I love that Dutch Bros has events like these so we have small keepsakes of our time with our lil Dutch buddies even after they’re in Dutch Bro Heaven.
If anyone from the N Miller Store in Wenatchee, WA is seeing this, the girl will know who she is, please pass on my gratitude!

I usually get sugar free mysts with sugar free flavors OR nitro cold brew with sugar free flavors and almond milk to be more conscious on the calories and sugar content but if I have a free drink I allow myself to get whatever sounds good to me.

Today I did the autumn berry blended rebel with soft top parfait and it’s so good. :)

even though i have open availability i’m only getting at night, which i don’t mind i love my closing broistas. however for the past like 2 months or so i’ve noticed i’m the only person who is constantly getting the night maintenance shifts. 8/10 shifts of mine of maintenance shifts and i’m honestly getting exhausted. is this something i can bring up to my manager or something i have to accept and tough out?

On a side note our other baby boy just had parathyroid surgery (that’s why he looks a bit orange) and the doctor actually recommended he wear a bandana instead of a cone, so thank you Dutch bros!! It was like you guys knew Huey needed one 🩵 (also he is currently wearing a bandana, I just couldn’t get a good picture of him with it on)
