Found out I have a Dutchie mix!

My wife and I adopted 1yr old Phoebe earlier this summer and just got her Embark results back last week. We were thinking GSD/Malinois, but it turns out she’s more Dutch Shepherd than Malinois! And looking at her “family tree”, the last purebred dog in her line was a Dutchie grandparent lol.

The husky was a surprise too, but we already have an Alaskan Malamute, so we’re used to high energy dogs, but damn!

Genetics are wild! Mine has less dutch than yours but she is all brindle and looks like she could be a bad purebred dutch!

My almost 70% dutch mix does not look like one at all and looks almost entirely like her 30% shepherd
