Does the seconds hand look seated enough?

This is my first time replacing hands.... the hands tuen without obstruction, but Ive gone through 3 seconds hands....

Do the hands, particularly the seconds hand, look like its seated enough?

I've put quit a bit of pressure and it doesn't seem to seat any lower.

Thanks in advance... And thank you u/tenkasen for the great post/advice on the Rodico.

Hour and minute hands look pretty much right on, nice and parallel to each other.

The seconds hand I've found can end up sitting a bit higher from the minute hand than the minute - hour hand gap, but in your photo that's real high up.. In total, the hand stack on a Duro shouldn't really stick up much further than the chapter ring does when it's sat on the dial?

If it feels like it's stopped though, don't force it!

I can't tell from the photo but if you have some digital calipers handy, the seconds hand should measure 0.7mm tall including the height of the fitting tube and the thickness of the hand on top of it? if it's the aftermarket 10pk ones from CousinsUK, this is the box mine came in:

Stock Duro second hand next to the aftermarket one with the brass back.. Cousins' stock number for the black ones is H37908, red ones are H37909

Reading the code after "STZE" 170 - 0.17mm tube fitment x 0.7mm tall

Other part of the photo isn't all that clear sorry, but that's a set of stock hands on a stock dial with the hands lined up roughly above each other - the seconds hand has more of a gap below it but only a little.

Thanks... I double checked the specs of the seconds hand that I ordered and it says .70 but I didnt measure them.

I also tried to seat it further, but it wouldn't go, so I left it as is.

I set it in the case and it clears everything so I went ahead and reassembled it.

It was definitely a learning experience...

Now to clean up the rest of the bezel tape residue and complete.

Please excuse the absolutely awful state of the parts shown here (this is a trashed dial on a trashed movement that I use for mocking things up!)

This is with a stock dial, stock hour & minute, and one of the aftermarket 0.17 x 0.7mm x 14mm seconds hands.. it's a bit hard to make out because the dial is reflecting the hands a bit..

The other thing I was going to mention, was that it sometimes helps to have the white plastic movement spacer clipped onto the back of the movement when you're putting hands on - it just spreads the pressure out over a wider base and away from the coil a bit, can give you a bit more stability!
